We had booked two nights and stayed four. It was a safe private parking place offered and we had a wonderful, spacious, clean and beautiful room. Massimo, his sister and their mother are running the b&b very well and leave no wishes open. They provided us with maps, bus tickets, information for sightseeing trips in and around Lucca, E.G. into the Garfagnana, and excellent recommendations for lovely little restaurants. All in all, a great place to be and absolutely to be recommended.

Real Italian hospitality (you should try yourself, I cannot describe it properly), very nice big room, comfortable. Very nice big inner garden with parking at the end, actually you can stay there for the whole day enjoying.
In fact, only one - a bit far from old town (walking distance 20 mins and the road has no sidewalk), but you can take a bus or use your car to

We really like our stay at Le Giare. The family was very friendly and serviceminded. Masimo the son of the house was a superior host. Everything worked from tickets to the bus to information about the area. We used Le Giare for our stay in order to visit Firenze and Pisa by train. Everything worked out perfectly. A big tks. to the family and Masimo. We would recommend this B&B to anyone.
It was a little bit to far away from Lucca to walk. And one should be aware that the bus stops working at 20.00. Then you will have to walt 20 minutes or take a taxi.

Le Giare is a lovely little B&B. The owners were very helpful and even had suggestions for the rest of our trip.
Situated on quite a busy road and is a bus ride from the town.

You would not find a more personal or helpful family run business! They took excellent care of us and offered great advice on day trips out of Lucca, for which we are very grateful. We arrived as guests but left feeling like friends! ( ps. Also they spoke excellent English which for us poor smucks who don't speak Italian made it so much easier).
If you are driving, exiting the driveway of the b&b can be a challenge. It accesses a busy road and there is very little visibility - you need to use 2 mirrors placed at the entrance. With care, it can be done, but it was always a bit nerve-racking. If you're not used to European driving, ask Massimo for help and all will be well.

This bed and brekfast was fantastic, Massimo and his mother was incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was very good which we ate outside in their garden. The location was good, a walk of 15 minutes, and you will be in the town. Can highly recommend this b & b

Massimo was extremely helpful in every regard. He helped us organise our days with any trips that we wanted to do and things we wished to see. He ensured our holiday was memorable. We loved it and would definitely return if the chance arose.
